Examples of our workThe Cost of Debt Conference - Infotrain organised this countywide conference for the Tackling Poverty Together Group. The conference, in 2005, helped raise awareness of debt issues in Bedfordshire and was attended by 75 delegates from a range of statutory and voluntary agencies. Infotrain also organised the TPT conferences in 2001 and 2003. Click here for a summary report. Exhibition of Services for Older People - Infotrain was commissioned by Bedfordshire Social Services to organise this exhibition in Dunstable for the residents of South Bedfordshire. 28 local agencies had stalls at the exhibition which was attended by over 300 visitors. The benefits advice desk organised at the event helped to raise over £18,000 in benefits for local residents. Click here for a summary report. Cambridge Independent Advice Centre - We organised an away day for CIAC in 2006 to help them review their governance arrangements and to begin planning for a change in organisational structure. Take the Credit Campaign - As part of consultancy work with the Welfare Rights Service at Bedfordshire Country Council, Infotrain planned and managed the Take the Credit Campaign in 2003 to help raise awareness and increase take-up of the new tax credits and other related benefits.
